It's time to get organized, and we're here to help. When you receive and pay your bills with Farmers State Bank's Online Bill Pay, you can see when they're due and control when they're paid. One website, one password. Now that's organized. 

With Farmers State Bank's Online Bill Pay, you get:

  • Convenience - Pay anyone who you normally pay by check

How does Bill Pay work?

  • Provide some info about the company or person you want to pay, and then tell us how much and when you want the payment made. We send your payment electronically when possible. If the person or company can’t accept electronic payments, we print a check and mail it for you.
  • The Payment Center lists the companies and people you can pay.
  • Enter a payment amount and the date when you want processing to begin. The date when the company or person receives the payment appears in the Deliver By field. You can also view and select the date from the calendar.

Who can I pay using Bill Pay?

  • Pay anyone in the United States that you would normally pay by check, automatic debit, or cash. You can pay companies, friends and family members, and service providers, such as the babysitter or the plumber.
  • Review your payments and bills for the past 84 months in Activity. Also review requests you sent. You can download your payment info to a comma-separated values (CSV) file. You can import the file into a number of different personal financial software applications.

How do I enroll for Bill Pay?

  • It’s easy. Just log into Online Banking, click the Bill Payment tab, and complete the secure enrollment form.
  • Once your enrollment is received and processed you’re ready to start using Online Bill Pay.

How secure is Online Bill Pay?

  • Online Bill Pay is fully secure. It is recommended by security experts to help protect against check fraud and identity theft.
  • We use multiple layers of online security to protect financial and personal information.

Do I have to be enrolled for Online Banking to use Bill Pay?

  • Yes. You must be enrolled for Online Banking before you can sign up for Bill Pay

Who can I make payments to?

  • You can make payments to virtually anyone using our online bill pay system.

Who can't I pay with Bill Pay?

  • Use Bill Pay to pay companies and people with addresses in the United States or its territories. You cannot use Bill Pay to send payments to addresses outside the United States.
  • We don't recommend using Bill Pay to make state and federal tax payments or court-ordered payments. Such payments are discouraged and must be scheduled at your own risk.

Is my info secure?

  • Yes. Bill Pay uses several methods to ensure that your info is secure.
  • SSL. Bill Pay uses SSL (secure sockets layer) which ensures that your connection and info are secure from outside inspection.
  • Encryption. Bill Pay uses 128-bit encryption to make your info unreadable as it passes over the Internet.
  • Automatic Sign Out. Bill Pay automatically signs you out of a session if you are inactive for a predefined time (usually 10 minutes). This feature helps prevent another person from being able to resume your session if you walk away. For best security, don't use your browser's Back or Refresh buttons, and sign out immediately after your finish your tasks in Bill Pay.

Is my personal info kept private?

  • Yes. Your personal info is used to help us maintain your account and verify your identity. We verify this info with a consumer credit reporting agency for your security and protection. The verification process does not affect your credit report, credit rating, or credit worthiness.
  • Please review the Terms of Service for a complete description of when Bill Pay must disclose info to third parties.

How fast are payments delivered?

  • When you schedule a payment, the payment calendar indicates the earliest available payment date – up to 5 business days, or the next business day for payees that receive electronic payments.
  • Same-day payments can also be made for payees that accept electronic payments. Fees may apply.
  • Next-day rush payments can be made to payees through overnight express shipping of check payments. Fees apply.

What kinds of bill payments are available?

  • One-time payment - The payment date you specify is the date the payment will be received by the merchant, as well as the date the funds are withdrawn from your account.
  • Automatic or recurring payment - Occurs at your specified frequency as many times as you indicate.

What is a recurring payment?

  • Recurring payments are automatic payments of the same amount. Customers/members do not have to re-enter a new payment each month. Payment reminders can easily be set up to alert the customer/member of upcoming payments.

How far in advance can I schedule a payment?

  • Payments can be set up as much as 365 days in advance.
  • Recurring payments can be scheduled to occur over any time period in the future, including indefinitely.

Can I cancel or change a scheduled payment?

  • Yes you can review, change, or cancel a payment at any time before it is processed.
  • Payments may be processed up to 5 days in advance of the payment due date entered by the user.
  • The system displays an error message if you attempt to modify a payment after it has been processed.
