    FSB Mobile Deposit

    Step-by-Step Guide

    A feature of the Mobile Banking App for iPhone®, iPad ®, and Android® supported devices. Mobile Deposit allows qualified Farmers State Bank clients to conveniently make secure deposits anytime, using their mobile device and the FSB Mobile Banking app.

    Getting Started

    Requirements to use Mobile Deposit through the FSB Mobile App:

    • You must be a client of Farmers State Bank and have a checking account in good standing.
    • Enrolled in Farmers State Bank Online Banking
    • Access to an Apple®, or Android ® powered device with the FSB Mobile App installed.

    Depositing a Check

    1. Launch the FSB Mobile App on your mobile device, and login to your account using your Online Banking Log In and Password.
    2. Once on the Accounts page, there will be five icons on the bottom of the screen:  Accounts, Transfers, Payments, Deposit and More.  Select the Deposit icon.
    3. There will now be three options:  Deposit Check, Receive Money From People, or Check Deposit History.  Select Deposit Check.
    4. The first time you use this service, you will be asked to review and accept the Mobile Deposit Services Agreement before you can continue.
    5. Once you accept the agreement, you will be taken to the Deposit Check screen.
      1. Select the account to which you are depositing. 
      2. Enter the amount of your check:  There is a $3000 dollar deposit limit per day, and a $1500 dollar limit per check.
      3. “Select Front Image”
        • Place the check with the front side facing up on a well-lit surface, free of clutter.
        • Align the check within the frame, making sure the entire check is completely within the frame, and there is nothing else in the image.
        • Take the picture.
      4. “Select Back Image”
        • Sign the check.
        • Write your account number.
        • Include the words “For Mobile Deposit Only.
        • Take the picture.
    6. Confirm Deposit screen.  Select Edit if changes are needed, or Confirm, if everything appears correct.
    7. Deposit Pending, the amount, and the account will be shown.
    8. Select View My Accounts or Make Another Deposit.

    After Submitting a Deposit

    • Keep your check for 14 days or until you see it posted into your account.
    • Checks deposited on a business day before 3:00 p.m. CDT will be credited on the current business day.
    • Checks deposited on a business day after 3:00 p.m. CDT will be credited the following business day.
    • Every day is a business day, except Saturdays, Sundays and Federal Holidays.
    • Funds Availability Holds may apply.
