Prior to arriving at Farmer’s State Bank, I was a retail sales manager in the poultry industry for 17 years. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Briar Cliff University.  Before pursuing my degree, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  I was on active duty for 4 years and stationed in California, Hawaii and Japan and other locations in the Pacific.  My wife Sheila is a dental assistant at Louscher Family Dentistry. I have 2 daughters, Emma age 6, and Ellie, age 2.

I am a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Marine Corps Association.  I enjoy traveling, reading, the outdoors, hiking, cross country skiing, running, biking, swimming and have participated in short and long distance running races and triathlons.   I also enjoy music, and am part of a local band called The Muscle Shirts.  I also contribute at St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Algona as a musician at Mass with a group of other musicians.  My wife and I are also active in other activities in the parish as well.

I’m excited to be at Farmers State Bank and very much appreciate the kind welcome I have received since I’ve joined the team!

    Tascha Wykoff

IT Support Specialist / Loan Officer

Location: Whittemore Division: Lending Phone: (515) 884-2293

I grew up on a farm between Pomeroy and Fonda, and attended Iowa Lakes Community College.  I have worked in the financial industry since 1994.  I am married to Brent Wykoff, an Agronomist for NEW Cooperative at Bode Location.  We have two children, Justin and Marcus.  In 2008, I started working at Farmers State Bank in Whittemore, where I am the Information Technology Specialist.  I also recently became a Loan Officer.

Information Technology is a good fit for me because I like the challenge of working with computers.  There is always something new and interesting happening with computer work.  Being a loan officer has given me an opportunity to have more personal interactions with FSB customers.  My priority is to meet the needs of our customers.

I think it is important to be knowledgeable and considerate with customers. Farmers State Bank has a lot to offer, and I can help customers decide which products are right for them.
